New Hampshire Volleyball Officials' Association
NHVOA
The
NHVOA is recognized by the NHIAA as the officials' organization used
for officiating high school volleyball matches in New Hampshire. All
New Hampshire high schools use the National Federation of State High
School Associations (NFHS) Volleyball Rules in their volleyball
contests.

2012-2013 Rules Interpretation, Business Meeting Dates Announced
Sunday, August 5-- Southern New Hampshire University Field House
Rules Interpretation/Clinic: 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Annual Business Meeting: 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Sunday, August 19--Gilford High School
Rules Interpretation/Clinic: 6:00 p.m.
Enter through the Auditorium Doors (to the left of the main office)
Volleyball Test
All patched and second and third year apprentice officials are required to take the online test through the Arbiter. Details of the on-line test will be shared by Rick Forge at the Rules Interpretation Meeting.

Peer Evaluation Forms for 2011 Tournament
Download a copy of the Peer Evaluation Forms for the 2010 Tournament. The can be accessed in two ways as an Excel spreadsheet where you can complete the form electronically which can be emailed to Phil Mollica, or in paper form that can be mailed to Phil Mollica at 5 Pray St., Rochester, NH 03868.
All Peer Evaluations must be completed by November 10, 2010.

PAVO Publishes Rule Differences Between NFHS/NCAA 2011-2012
Officials who work Prep School Volleyball matches use NCAA rules. This document helps with the rule differences between NFHS and NCAA. All officials who take Prep School matches are expected to know the NCAA rules.

Apprentice Clinic--July 7
A mandatory apprentice clinic will be held on Thursday, July 7 at 6 p.m. in the conference room of the Southern New Hampshire University Field House. The conference room is located near the pool.

Dues for 2010-2011 Season Due by January 1, 2010
Avoid the $10 late fee and be sure to send your dues for the 2010-2011
Volleyball Season. The dues this year is $80 and was set at the annual Business Meeting on August 2. There is a $10 late fee
charged for dues sent after January 1.

Officials who have been patched for more than one year are required to complete on-line peer evaluations weekly.

Please remember all officials must attend one rules interpretation every year in order to be a member in good standing.
DON'T FORGET!!!!!
All
officials (patched and apprentice) must register with the NHIAA by
August 1 in order to officiate fall sports. Please go to the Arbiter,
click on the NHIAA group and follow the directions to register. The fee
is $20 and covers all sports for the 2009-2010 season.
