The NHVOA is recognized by the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association (NHIAA) as the officials' organization used for high school volleyball matches in New Hampshire.

All New Hampshire High Schools use the National Federation of State High Schools Association (NFHS) Volleyball Rules in their contests.
